First Aid Life Skills
12th February 2016
This week, our HAPs Challenge class was delivered by The First Aid Society from The University of Liverpool.

Following their recent Cardio Challenge class, pupils were looking forward to another medical based session. It didn't disappoint! The group of undergraduates, all members of St John Ambulance service, guided pupils through the stages to be covered in the case of an emergency. Pupils were then taught how to use the recovery position and perform CPR if necessary.

The session was fun but at the same time brought a real awareness of the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency situation: it could literally be life saving.

Many thanks to the First Aid Society for providing our students with this opportunity.
