'Save A Life': HAPs Challenge

3rd February 2017
Our HAPs students had the amazing opportunity of learning some first aid essentials, thanks to LINKS from The University of Liverpool.
Working through the 'DR.ABC' routine, the pupils were able to discover how they could help in an emergency. They also had the chance to learn how to put a patient in the recovery position and administer CPR - and actually practise these skills!
Overall, this was not only an extremely beneficial HAPs Challenge session but also a thoroughly enjoyable one! Thank you to the undergraduates  (also volunteers for Saint John's Ambulance) for taking time out of their studies to visit school - we hope to see you again soon.
