High Achievers' Challenge - Our After School Group
HAPs Challenge 2018-19
HAPS Challenge provides our high achieving students, from Years 7-10, with opportunities to work together on a variety of topics/subjects. The sessions are designed with challenge as the priority, obviously! In mixed age groupings, pupils work through advanced problems - often of A2 standard (or even beyond).
This year, we will be hosting a variety of subjects delivered by FHS staff and also undergraduates from The University of Liverpool (through their Societies in Schools initiative).
Classes will begin very soon, usually Wednesdays 3.10-4.10pm (although this day can change depending on staff availability). Pupils will receive a letter (a week in advance) if they are involved in a session. A schedule and list of groupings will by uploaded onto our website (below).
If you are interested in a particular session but have not received a letter, please see Mrs Zeqaj (Room 24) - we will always try to find you a place.
Year 11 HAPs are most welcome to attend but only if they do not have 'period 7'.
